Table Loom Loaner Policy

February 2, 2019

The WGRI owns a four-shaft Bernat table loom that is stored at the Saunderstown Weaving School.  A WGRI member may borrow the loom for a period of three months with a renewal of three months if there is no one on the wait list.

A security deposit of $50.00 will be given to the WGRI treasurer.  The deposit will be returned when the loom is returned in good condition.

The loom will be signed out with the president of WGRI by email.  It can be picked up at the Saunderstown Weaving School, at a time convenient to owner Norma Smayda, after the deposit is made.  The president of WGRI will notify Norma Smayda that the loom is being loaned to the member and they will pick it up.

The loom must be picked up at and returned to the Saunderstown Weaving School at the convenience of Norma Smayda.  The member must notify the treasurer and the president that the loom is returned before the deposit is returned.

If there are multiple requests for the table loom, the president of WGRI will keep a wait list based on date of request for future loans.
